Read about BRAINatomy which was led by The University of Manchester in collaboration with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust to improve the outcomes for children diagnosed with brain tumours. This project used large “real-world” datasets to learn how to develop kinder treatments, providing information about how to safely change radiotherapy planning practice.
Impact Case Study
Penile cancer
Read about a systematic review examining the clinical evidence for lymph node-positive penile cancer which has led to changes in treatment guidelines and an Impact Award for our team at The Christie and The University of Manchester. The review has since helped inform current clinical decision making and has been used to develop updated 2023 EAU-ASCO penile cancer guidelines.
