Within our partner organisations there is comprehensive and anonymous support available for anyone who feels that they are experiencing any form of bullying or harassment in our research environments.
The University of Manchester has recently publicised this sentiment through their ‘We Get It’ campaign. Discrimination, bullying and harassment come in many guises, all of which are unacceptable to the University and which have no place in a civilised working and learning environment.
The Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute has a ‘Respect at Work Policy’ available to all staff and students through their intranet.
The relevant HR departments at the CRUK MI, the University and the Doctoral Academy can always be contacted should staff or students wish to speak to someone.
Alternatively, incidences can be reported anonymously to the University or to a trained Harassment Support Advisor, via Report and Support.
