About the role:

An exciting opportunity is currently available for an Executive Assistant to join the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality personal and professional administrative support to the MCRC Director to ensure maximum office efficiency and effectiveness.
This role will join an established Operations team, and requires an ability to work independently as well as part of the team.

About you:

You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent relevant experience) and have significant experience of working in a secretarial or Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant role, along with experience of working with senior members of management within a large complex organisation. Strong communication skills and excellent IT skills (Microsoft packages) are essential.  Experience of working within an academic, clinical or scientific environment is desirable.
